Lemon Sage Chicken

This recipe is so quick and easy, it is perfect for a family on the go or for a mom who is 36 weeks pregnant!!!
The Ingredients:
1 chicken roaster
1 lemon
2 TBSP of Sage
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 – 2 tsp lemon pepper
1 – 2 tsp garlic powder
drizzle of Olive Oil
The Directions:
Rinse and pat dry the chicken roaster. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 half lemon on the chicken. Insert the other lemon inside the chicken. Sprinkle sage, garlic and seasonings on the chicken. Finally, top the chicken with Olive Oil. Cook on low for 4.5 – 5 hours in crock pot.
Save the bones and left over chicken for another meal, recipe to come!!!

What do you mean…cook on low…325?
I am sorry, I forgot to add to put it in the crockpot! You cook it in the crockpot for 3.5-4 hours.
Question: Do you add any liquid to this??? I have about a 3 lb chicken, I am not sure what a roasting chicken equates to.
Barb – No liquid needed. The chicken will produce enough liquid itself.
The chicken I roasted was about 3-5 pounds.

This actually looks really good, but what setting do you use on the crock pot?
