Grilled Potatoes

June 27, 2012

I am loving our CSA food share! This is week 9! The last two weeks we have received double shares because of our weeks on vacation! One week we received our first bag (2) of  new potatoes. We were grilling one night and I decided that I wanted to try to grill potatoes on the grills. I sliced about 7 – 10 new potatoes into slices and coated them with a little Olive Oil.

The (more) browned potatoes were awesome! The thin ones tasted like potato chips. The bigger ones tasted like french fries.  These were a great side and a great way to use the potatoes on hand!

The Ingredients:

New Potatoes
A little Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper (optional!)

The Directions:

Preheat Grill. Slice potatoes and lightly coat with Olive Oil. Place on grill and let them cook for a couple minutes on one side and then a couple minutes on the other. The time all depends on if you want the potatoes french fry like (soft in the middle), or chip like (crispy) or even more browned! I add barely any salt when seasoning. They were perfect with out anything added too!

ENJOY!

Question for you:

What is your favorite way to prepare New Potatoes??? We are suppose to get some more in todays share!!! I would love to hear more new ideas!
