Happy New Year
This year my hubby and I have set out some monthly goals, as I am sure most do! We began to eat more clean Paleo/Real Food after Christmas and now are past the hard first few days! We were even able to stay “on” for New Years Eve!
We had dinner at our friends! I really enjoy having dinner with this family because my friend and I pick a theme and divide and conquer a meal! This time we decided to make Chinese :) She made the General Tso Chicken and Almond Cookies from Gather and some delicious appetizers, while I made Crockpot Casher Chicken, Fried Rice with Shrimp (a mixture from Gather and my own recipe!) and a Napa Salad (with several modifications!). It was a great night with friends and AMAZING food!
As I mentioned we have set some goals and are sticking to them! I am back to making weekly menus because that helps me stick to eating healthy and providing healthy meals for my boys! I will try to share my menus and recipes as we go along!
