About Me

Hi, my name is Lindsey. I am a wife of a chiropractor and mother of 3 sweet boys. I have always had a love for cooking, even when I was little I loved baking and cooking.

For the past couple of years, my husband and I have been making huge lifestyle changes towards a more health way of life. We use natural (children safe) cleaners (Thieves, Melaleuca, Vinegar, Baking Soda, etc.). We use essential oils and homeopathic for colds, bumps and bruises.
Our latest adventure - FOOD! Last year, while pregnant, we watched the movie Food, Inc. That night – I was disgusted. That disgusted sickness feeling I had in my stomach lasted a month or so, maybe even longer. I questioned everything that we, as a family, consumed. Which in turn made my stomach ill all over. Since then, we made the switch and haven’t looked back. We have switched from ALL store bought (processed in some way) to almost all LOCAL foods! We are changing the way we eat and loving it!
I started this blog to share my experiences (recipes) good and bad through our major change. I am not scared to share my FLOPS with you… as this is a learning experience for me.
My family and I LOVE Eating Real Food! My boys thrive on Real Food. We are not 100% strict with our boys. We do allow them school treats but as soon as they have them bad attitudes, bad behavior and bad sleep all return. We just thrive on Real Food! You may say we eat Paleo or Primal but we like to say we eat Real Food!
Please feel free to email me with any questions at enjoyinghealthyfoods@yahoo.com
Thank you,
Lindsey
p.s. If you have not watched Food, Inc. watch it… It is LIFE CHANGING!
